What's the difference between Jacuzzi and a generic "jacuzzi"?
"Jacuzzi" became a generic term decades ago — but Jacuzzi® is a specific brand still in business, headquartered in California, that invented the original hydrotherapy hot tub in 1968. When you buy a Jacuzzi-branded tub from us, you're getting the actual Jacuzzi engineering: PowerPro jet system, ProClear filtration, full-foam insulation, factory-backed warranty. Most "jacuzzi tubs" sold elsewhere are generic spas using the term colloquially.
Which Jacuzzi series is right for me?
Best way to know is to wet-test. As a starting point: J-200 if you want a quality entry hot tub without the premium price; J-300 if you want strong hydrotherapy with full features and DFW's most-installed series; J-400 if you're comparing against a $50K pool addition and want the luxury wellness experience. Our consultants walk you through the differences in person, not over a generic spec sheet.
What does a Jacuzzi cost installed in DFW?
J-200 series: $7,000-$11,000 installed. J-300 series: $11,000-$16,000 installed. J-400 series: $15,000-$22,000 installed. Install includes delivery from our DFW warehouse, placement on your prepared pad, electrical coordination with your licensed electrician, fill-and-start, and a chemistry walkthrough. Add $1,500-$3,000 for crane lift if your backyard has limited access.
How long is the warranty?
Jacuzzi factory warranty is 5-7 years on the shell and structure, 5 years on plumbing, 2 years on electrical components, 1 year on jets and pillows — varies by series. Galaxy backs warranty service in DFW with our own service techs — no third-party warranty company to call. Bring the tub for service or we come to you.
Do Jacuzzi tubs work in Texas heat?
Yes. Full-foam insulation is a thermal flywheel — it holds heat in DFW winters and stays cool when you don't want to heat in 100°F summers. Most DFW customers run their Jacuzzi at 102-104°F year-round; in summer some drop to 95-98°F for a cool-down soak instead of a heated one. Heater capacity is generally oversized for our climate, so heating from cold is fast.
What's financing look like on a Jacuzzi purchase?
We currently offer No Interest Until 2029 on select Jacuzzi models with approved credit through Wells Fargo and TFCU. Most DFW Jacuzzi buyers finance, with monthly payments typically running $150-$400 depending on series and term. Details on our
financing page.
